SPALDINGS EXTENDS PRODUCT PORTFOLIO TO INCLUDE HUSQVARNA CHAINSAWS
New lightweight but powerful range of Husqvarna chainsaws offer reduced fuel consumption and extended operator time
Lincoln, 9th June 2009 – Spaldings today announced the overhaul of their petrol chainsaw range with the introduction of Husqvarna to their product portfolio. The powerful new range features three lightweight saws with engine displacements of 34.4cc, 40cc and 45.7cc and fitted bars of 15” and 18”. The latest Husqvarna technologies are incorporated into each model to provide the everyday user with professional standards from an easy to use ergonomic design.
The Husqvarna chainsaws all benefit from the new X-Torq engines which provide a powerful output whilst minimising fuel consumption and emissions allowing for the most stringent of environmental regulations to be met. The LowVib dampening system and isolated handle design minimise vibration levels allowing for uninhibited use and an extended product life.
“Today’s economic conditions have resulted in a range of new challenges for our customers with the most prominent being how to keep their costs to a minimum. The introduction of the Husqvarna chainsaw range means they can benefit from fuel consumption being reduced as much as 20%” says Alastair Ramsay, Marketing Manager for Spaldings. “As a result the emissions are cut by as much as 60% meaning that each saw complies with the most stringent of environmental policies.”
The centrifugal air cleaning system eliminates 97% of dust before it enters the filter, reducing the number of filter changes and ensuring longer operating time at peak performance. Equipped with Smart Start the chainsaws start quickly and with minimum effort as resistance to the cord is reduced by 40%.
