Spaldings Replacement Lift Arm
Beats The Competition
Local authorities are becoming increasingly aware that buying non-original replacement parts can actually save money and time. Salisbury District Council’s Commercial Services Department have been ordering Spaldings replacement parts for many years. The council buys Spaldings replacement lift arms for their ride-on cylinder mowers as they are made to a greater thickness than those supplied by the original equipment manufacturer.
The council’s Contract Supervisor, Graham Dewey, said: “The advantage to us is that there are fewer failures and therefore less downtime. Spaldings replacement lift arms are stronger and better constructed than the originals and the welding is first class. This saves us a lot of time and effort when trying to keep the machines running during the cutting season which is our busiest time of the year when resources are most stretched.
“Spaldings next day delivery service makes sure that our machines are not out of action for long as many original equipment manufacturers often don’t hold replacement lift arms in stock.”
Spaldings is Europe’s leading distributor of Groundcare and Agricultural replacement parts and tools. Spaldings’ Marketing Manager, Jonathan Rigby commented: “We decided to increase the thickness of the lift arm in some of our range in response to customers’ comments that the original manufacturers’ lift arms specification could be improved on. At Spaldings we always listen to our customers and try to develop products that meet their specific needs.”
Spaldings parts are designed and manufactured for Spaldings to exacting quality standards and are supplied to fit the machines indicated and are not sold as genuine parts.
