Spaldings New Wheel Changer for Safer Handling

Changing large agricultural wheels safely and using only one man is now an option for farmers and contractors following the launch by Spaldings of its new Professional Hydraulic Wheel Changer.
The innovative hydraulic two-speed pump allows the unit to be used with any size and width of agricultural tyre up to 2.2m diameter and 800mm width.

The wheel is balanced with the help of an adjustable retaining arm that allows rotation of the wheel in a secure position, making the task of lining up the wheel studs when re-fitting a wheel much simpler.

Spaldings Professional Hydraulic Wheel Changer is available under product number 18173.

Spaldings have recently introduced a new range of hammers with fibreglass shafts to complement their existing range of workshop and farm maintenance equipment.

The new range includes long handled sledge hammers in a choice of weights, engineer’s hammers in a choice of weights and a handy 4 lb lump hammer. All feature solid fibreglass shafts for strength and durability with moulded non-slip soft grip handles for safe secure use. Their construction makes them ideal for use out doors, as they will not rot.
