Spaldings New 3m Cultivator
Spaldings new 3m cultivator is a very effective and versatile machine for use as a primary cultivator directly into stubble to chop and mix crop residues.
It is equally effective when used on previously cultivated land and can deal with a variety of conditions from heavy clay to light silt with a minimum power requirement of 120-150HP
The machine consists of a row of 10 angled, 610mm cuttaway discs fitted in a de-mountable Cutli-disc headstock unit. The disc angle is adjustable for optimum chopping and mixing. This is then followed by a two beam heavy duty cultivation frame fitted with 13 tempered steel tines.
The tines are fitted with heavy duty reversible forged points as standard or as an option can be fitted with Spaldings own range of knock on cultivator points for quick changes in the field.
The Culti-disc unit can be quickly and easily separated from the cultivator and used via a 3 point linkage, in conjunction with any cultivator or be mounted on a tractor front linkage.
A crumbler roller is fitted immediately after the cultivator to consolidate the surface and crush any clods.
