Spaldings Relaunch Unique PTO Guard

The PTO Total Guard® system consists of a heavy-duty neoprene convoluted tube which can stretch up to two metres.  The PTO shaft moving parts are then totally enclosed from the operator but are easily reached for routine greasing by removing the tube via quick release lug attachments.  The tube material has been designed to be resistant to most farm substances such as diesel, fertiliser and chemicals.

Spaldings Announce Appointment New Agricultural Sales Director

Spaldings (UK) Limited has announced the appointment of Roger Chase as the company’s new Agricultural Sales Director.  Roger started with Spaldings 23 years ago as a sales representative in Norfolk before becoming sales manager for the eastern region 10 years ago.  He then went on to become the southern region divisional manager four years ago.

Roger’s promotion marks another move in Spaldings’ plans to continue building on recent success.  The company is investing heavily in customer service including on-going training for customer-facing staff.  Because of the company’s success, Spaldings will be well-placed to push forward its plans for the future which are; improved levels of customer service, higher levels of stock, expanded product range, enhanced levels of service and more targeted marketing campaigns.

Because Roger will be based at Spaldings’ head office in Lincoln, he will only be able to cover a reduced area of his sales area in north west Norfolk.  Roger said: “Spending more time in head office means that I will not be able to get out on the road as often as I used to, but my new job role will be to put into place many of our plans and, following the upturn in agriculture, it is a very exciting time to work for Spaldings and I am looking forward to developing our customer relationships.”
