SPALDINGS OVERHAULS PETROL CHAINSAW RANGE

Spaldings have introduced two new professional chainsaws that have been specifically chosen to fit the most popular segment of the chainsaw market. The new Efco 52cc and 45cc chainsaws come equipped with high torque two stroke engines that are independent of the machine body; this reduces heat transmission allowing for heavy use and minimal downtime.

The 45cc chainsaw is fitted with an 16inch bar whilst the larger 52cc engine boasts a 18inch bar. Both models benefit from a decompression valve for easy start-up, automatic chain oil pump for economical fuel consumption and a special ‘ice device’ that ensures moisture does not freeze the air filter for uninhibited use.

Spaldings’ Marketing Manager, Alastair Ramsay, said: “After careful customer research it was decided to completely change our chainsaw product range to better fit the profile of our customers. We believe that these two introductions will better meet our customer requirements.”

Both chainsaws have been individually tested by the manufacturer to ensure optimum performance and increased safety for the operator. The inertia chain brake protects the operator from potential kickback, whilst the one piece handle ensures that vibration levels are kept to an absolute minimum.
